Reviews and Ratings
The hotel's location is a plus, just about 1 km away from Jonker Street, making it convenient for exploring the area. The rooms were spacious, neat, and had separate bunk beds for the kids, a great feature for families. However, the dining options were limited for international guests, and breakfast could have had more variety.
Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms had some drawbacks like a long wait for occupation, overlooking the pool and straits, and lacking basic amenities like USB points. However, we enjoyed bathing there. The service was a bit hit and miss with helpful and friendly staff but some ignored inquiries. The location was convenient for accessing nearby attractions and shopping areas, but there were issues with lift usage and breakfast area. The dining experience offered a lovely view and good variety, especially the breads. Overall, a stay with ups and downs.
The hotel is conveniently located near the jetty and Makhota Parade, making it easy to access nearby attractions. The rooms were just as filthy and toxic as the old room, which may not be ideal for families with infants. The service was exceptional, with attentive security in the car park and a courteous restaurant staff. The location is a plus, being within 5 minutes to the malls but slightly on the quieter fringe. The dining experience was busy, requiring guests to sit in the lobby area at times.
